As a charity, which is a not-for-profit organisation we would be unable to function without the invaluable support of our grant makers and funders. They provide their generous support to BAAS, so that we can deliver our services to improve the lives of families impacted by autism throughout Bolton, and beyond.

We give thanks to our funders by recognising them and sharing the support they have offered:-

National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund – are BAAS’s core funders, and in recognition of our work they have recently awarded our charity with an uplift of our current grant, enabling us to employ a dedicated Befriending Service Coordinator.

Charity Grant Service – have awarded us a generous three year grant to cover the cost of the lease on our office, enabling us to have a base in the heart of Bolton.

CRH – have provided funding for us to employ a dedicated Social Activities Coordinator, so we can bring more frequent and accessible drop ins and social activities to Bolton’s autistic community.

Manchester Guardian Society – have provided additional funds so we can offer enriched experiences to those who benefit from our support through our Befriending and Social Activities Services.

East Lancashire Masonic Charity – awarded us with a generous grant to increase our technological capabilities, through procurement of software, a database and mobile phones for our volunteer befrienders – keeping them and the people they are befriending safe and connected during befriending visits.

People’s Postcode Lottery – awarded us a Magic Little Grant to enhance our social activities for autistic adults and their parent/carers.

The Bolton Fund – provided a small grant which we used to host a Christmas party for our staff, volunteers and service beneficiaries.

The support we received from each of the above funders is so appreciated by everyone involved with BAAS, and we can’t thank them enough!
